This year’s Notables were announced on Tuesday 25 March 2025.
We received 730 entries for 15 expert judges to assess in this year’s awards. The notables showcases the work of 122 books, representing 31 publishers, 114 writers and 79 illustrators.
These categories reflect the breadth of children’s literature written by Australians. They also reflect our aim to promote quality reading for young Australians of a wide age-range and reader ability.
