Books and resources from Allen and Unwin to help you get involved.

World Refugee Week runs from Sunday, June 15th until Saturday, June 21st. This event provides a chance to help students connect with the human stories behind the headlines – to celebrate the strength, resilience and contributions of refugees in Australia.

No two refugee stories are the same, yet they all speak to a shared desire for freedom, safety and belonging.

Allen & Unwin has partnered with Twinkl to celebrate one very special refugee story, The Little Refugee by Anh Do and Suzanne Do, illustrated by Bruce Whatley to create an exclusive collection of primary and high school resources that will support the teaching of this very special book.
