The Australian book market has ended the difficult year that was 2020 on a high, with Nielsen BookScan reporting book sales in Australia were up almost 8% from 2019 sales figures. Over 2020, sales in adult fiction grew by 13.6%, and children’s books grew by 9% from 2019.
