The recent Special Edition of the Journal of Qualitative Inquiry titled Dialogue about literacy theories, methodologies and implications for classroom practice, consists of 12 chapters, with each chapter expanding on one of the 12 Foundation for Learning and Literacy Touchstones. While usually not an open access journal, we have negotiated open access for one month from June 12. We encourage all Friends to take this opportunity to read these peer reviewed articles. We would also like to thank the talented writers who contributed to this journal.
