Australia’s Children’s Book Champions unite to inspire young readers across regional Australia
Laureate Week is an exciting new initiative aimed at supporting students and inspiring a love of stories across regional Australia.
Created in partnership between the Australian School Library Association (ASLA) and the Australian Children’s Laureate Foundation (ACLF), Laureate Week will take place across the week beginning 28 July 2025.
During this week, the current Australian Children’s Laureate Sally Rippin and past Laureates Gabrielle Wang (2022–23), Ursula Dubosarsky (2020–21) and Leigh Hobbs (2016–17) will visit hub schools around Australia, speaking to hundreds of students about the power of story.
