Allen & Unwin has launched a new publishing imprint which will be curated by Gamilaroi and Torres Strait Islander writer, actor, and director Nakkiah Lui. The imprint, Joan, named for Lui’s grandmother, has been established to provide a home for “the voices that get pushed to the fringes….Voices that challenge; exposing, critical voices.”
