LEIGH HOBBS SHARES FILMS FOR FREE DURING LOCKDOWN
Beloved children’s author, artist and former Children’s Laureate Leigh Hobbs has just released a series of short films which he hopes will help teachers scrambling for activity ideas during lockdown.
In the films, which he created with award-winning filmmaker Katrina Mathers, Leigh talks about the inspiration behind each of his characters, such as Old Tom, Horrible Harriet, Mr Chicken, Mr Badger and the Freaks, and then shows, step by step, how he draws each of them.
