| It has been such a busy and exciting start to my second Laureate year, attending events and planning lots more, as well as my own writing behind the scenes. Spreading my message around Australia is such an incredible privilege and joy, and in the coming months I will be travelling to many parts of our beautiful country. I have a regional Queensland tour in planning, as well as a trip to Tasmania, and an important visit to the Northern Territory. |
| But first, I’ll be sharing my message to an international audience at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. I’ll be joining Children’s Laureates and Reading Ambassadors from around the world for the International Laureate Summit. I can’t wait to exchange ideas as we all work towards the goal of ensuring all children have access to the stories that can empower and change their lives. And of course, I’m excited to continue supporting ALIA, as they mark their 25th Anniversary of National Simultaneous Storytime, as well as helping the CBCA celebrate its 80th Birthday year milestone. |
