The Federal Government has released its first report card for the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement.
Education Minister Jason Clare said the report card shows early signs of improvement. The number of students finishing high school, and school attendance figures have both started to trend up. Similarly, the number of people enrolled in teaching degrees has risen, up 20 percent.
“This report shows we’re making progress, but there’s a lot more work to do,” Minister Clare said.
“Attendance is going back up. Teacher numbers are going back up. The number of students finishing high school is going back up.
