Book Week is a fantastic entry point to building a school-wide culture of reading that extends beyond one week each year.
...Ultimately, the goal of Book Week should extend beyond encouraging students to pick up a book for one week of the year. It is an opportunity to help students discover what they truly enjoy reading and see themselves as readers, developing a relationship with books that lasts well beyond the final day of Book Week.
