Every day when you walk into the ABC studios in East Perth the bookshelves look a little more full thanks to your donations to the Brekky Book Bank.
Over the month of August the ABC is partnering with Communicare, The Literature Centre and The Children’s Book Council of Australia to collect books for children who might be at risk of disengaging from education.
Julia Lawrinson is an accomplished writer and also Chairperson of The Literature Centre. The centre nurtures the interest of young readers in the city and in the bush and where possible introduces them to new books and the people who write them.
