FOUNDATION GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE

Executive Committee -
Key decision-making group

Includes the Convenor/s and committee members with responsibility for key strategic roles and tasks. The Executive Committee meets most months via video link. 

General Committee- Feedback and support-task group

Includes those who wish to undertake specific tasks on working groups on a semi-regular basis. The General Committee meets 3 or 4 times a year with the Executive Committee via video link. 

Friends of the Foundation

Includes those nationally and internationally who declare their agreement with the Foundation’s Touchstones. 

Process for appointment to one of the above groups:

The Foundation convenor/s will email all members on the Executive and General Committees in February of each year seeking those members to elect to commit for the following calendar year to either Executive Committee or General Committee or to move to the Friends group.
Friends of the Foundation will be informed of the above process each February through a notice on the website and can send a short EOI with a short bio if they wish to nominate for the General Committee. The current convenor/s will advise them of their appointment to the General Committee after the March meeting.
The membership of both the Executive Committee and General Committee will be announced at the March meeting of each year and be in place for the next calendar year.
The appointment of the convenor/s of the Foundation will be decided at the March meeting and be in place for the following calendar year.
Friends of the Foundation will be added to on a rolling basis.
