Call for Presentations and Registrations now open!

Challenge & Change:
Contemporary Literacy & English Teaching

ALEA is pleased to announce that the Call for Presentations and Registrations are now open for the 2021 AATE/ALEA National Conference. The conference will be hosted by ALEA Qld and ETAQ and delivered online from 7 to 9 July 2021.

The conference program is being created with innovative approaches in mind, using shorter session times and a variety of presentation genres, mixed with big moments for the whole group to tune in together around interesting speakers (national and international) and playful events that seek to nourish and nurture our professional growth.

Registration fees include access to the live event as well as recorded presentations for up to 6 months after the conference. The lower cost of fees and the ability to participate wherever you are means more people will be able to access this important professional development opportunity. We encourage schools and institutions to register multiple staff members.

Scholarships Available

The Copyright Agency Cultural Fund is generously sponsoring a number of scholarships for the conference.

The scholarships will cover the full three day member registration costs ($250). We are offering one scholarship for AATE members and one scholarship for ALEA members living in each of the states/territories in Australia – 16 scholarships in total.
