Sydney Theatre Company’s School Drama™ is a unique professional learning experience for primary teachers, bringing together drama and quality children’s literature to improve student literacy and engagement. Teachers work closely with a Teaching Artist in their own classroom to gain confidence and capacity in incorporating Arts-rich learning approaches in their regular teaching practice. Teachers will attain 8 hours 30 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD.
In 2022, the program is available to schools in Sydney, Broken Hill, Armidale, Albury-Wodonga, Canberra, Melbourne, Darwin and Perth.
